Vietnam-France Meeting on Mathematics for Development
The Académie des Sciences, the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM), the Hanoi University of Science and the Vietnam National University (VNU-HUS) are organizing the first Franco-Vietnamese meeting on mathematics for development from September 21 to 23 in Hanoi. The three-day event has been designated the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development 2022-2023, and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and Vietnam.
The CNRS (via the IRL FVMA in particular), the French Embassy in Vietnam, the International Research Network on Mathematical and Computer Modeling of Complex Systems and the IRD have also contributed to its organization.
